Position Overview:
Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), the CHRO will serve as a key member of the executive leadership team and provide strategic direction and oversight for all aspects of the human resources function. This role will drive talent strategy, organizational development, and culture alignment across the enterprise. The position is based in the Tampa metro area and follows a hybrid working model (3 days in-office, 2 days remote).
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic HR Leadership:
- Design and execute a people strategy that supports business objectives, drives employee engagement, and attracts top talent.
- Organizational Development:
- Lead initiatives in workforce planning, succession planning, and leadership development to support scalability and long-term growth.
- Culture & Engagement:
- Champion a strong, inclusive, and performance-driven culture aligned with the company’s mission, values, and goals.
- Talent Acquisition & Management:
- Oversee full-cycle talent acquisition, onboarding, performance management, and career development programs.
- Compensation & Benefits:
- Lead the design and implementation of competitive total rewards programs that support employee retention and market competitiveness.
- HR Operations & Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws while implementing efficient HR processes and systems.
- Executive Partnership:
- Serve as a trusted advisor to the CEO and executive leadership team, contributing to company-wide strategic planning and decision-making.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- 10–15+ years of progressive HR leadership experience, including time as a top HR executive in a growth-oriented or private equity-backed company.
- Proven success leading HR transformation initiatives in fast-paced, evolving business environments.
- Strong knowledge of employment law, compliance, and best practices across all HR disciplines.
- Experience scaling HR functions in multi-site or multi-state organizations.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
- Based in the Tampa metro area or willing to relocate; must be available in-office 3 days per week.
